Alternatives would be delighted to have you participate in our Center’s events and activities coming up in the next year. This is a great way to support our mission, meet others involved in our ministry, and to provide services in order to keep Alternatives Pregnancy Center going.

Baby Bottle Drive:
We celebrate Sanctity of Life Sunday with our Annual Baby Bottle Drive. We send hundreds of baby bottles to local churches, and the churches distribute these bottles to their congregation. People take the bottles home for a few weeks, fill them with spare change, and then return them to their church. The Baby Bottle Drive fundraiser is an easy, yet significant, way to help the mission of Alternatives Pregnancy Center. If you would like to participate, please call Alternatives and let them you’re your church is interested. A staff member from Alternatives will deliver bottles to your church and arrange to pick them up approximately three weeks later. In addition, to assist you in promoting the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, you may also request bulletin inserts. Information will be printed on the back of each insert describing Alternatives’ mission and services offered.

East Side Pastor's Luncheon
On Monday, March 1st Alternatives will host a Pastor’s Luncheon for the women pastor’s and pastor’s wives from the east side of Waterloo to introduce and remind them of Alternatives Pregnancy Center and its services. Alternatives’ goal is to reach out to more of the Cedar Valley to allow our center to serve more of those who may be faced with an unplanned pregnancy or could benefit from an array of assistance. Volunteer Training
Learn more about...sharing the Gospel...ministering without manipulation...communicating with people in crisis...explaining why sexual abstinence until marriage is important...understanding the pressures and risks our teens and single adults are facing...compassionately discussing abortion without a debate...understanding the pain of the men and women struggling with Post Abortion heartache...helping people find emotional and spiritual healing for their past.

A volunteer packet will need to be filled out and prospective volunteers must attend both sessions
