It is recommended that a pregnancy test not be done until one week after your first missed period. If you think you might be pregnant, visit our center for a free pregnancy test. Appointments are encouraged but not necessary.

Ultrasound Services are performed by a registered nurse to show clients the development of the baby. This is a wonderful opportunity for women to see the various characteristics of their baby while it is in the womb. Ultrasounds are a great way for women to get connected, informed, and more involved in experiencing the life they hold inside them.

Options Information is provided to Alternatives clients. They receive information about alternatives to abortion, education about abortion procedures and risks, education about their bodies, their babies and how to care for both. Alternatives Pregnancy Center does not recommend or refer for abortions.

Congratulations blankets or booties are given as gifts to women who first learn of their pregnancy at Alternatives.

Angel Baskets are given to new mothers and infants to celebrate the miracle of the baby’s birth.

Referrals to other community agencies and adoption agencies are provided as needed. Sometimes knowing where to go for help is half the battle. We can direct you to agencies within our own community if you have medical, housing, childcare or legal needs.

24-hour Help Line is available 24/7, whenever a crisis occurs. A client advocate will be available to help. The Help Line is 1-800-395-HELP.
